Very belated but very much deserved cake appreciation post for happy cakes. i am still in awe of this incredible creation by happy cakes. from the offset, i was impressed with the range of previous creations showcased on the website and facebook page, as well as the kind and generous work they are doing to support our valuable nhs staff amidst the current situation. julia could not have been more helpful and amenable to my requests and exceeded expectations when i arrived to pick up this masterpiece. not only did it fulfil my brief, it looked exceptional and tasted even better :) the cake was light and fluffy and the buttercream perfect (not too sweet) which was great as you had the sweetness of the fresh fruit, macarons and meringue kisses. despite being out for most of the day in the sun during our surprise birthday picnic, it was still fresh and tasted just as delicious a few days later! i honestly can't rave about this cake enough so a huge thank you to julia and the team at happy cakes. i will most certainly be ordering again soon...

I received a chocolate cake with maltesers for my birthday today. wow!! this cake is incredible, it's moist and the icing is chocolatey but not overally sweet. the maltesers are a great touch & the decoration is beautiful. julia was amazing & sent me a text to confirm that someone would be home & dropped it off soon after. my sister was able to order from australia & said the whole process was really straightforward and smooth. what a great birthday present!! 🎂🍰🍫🎉

The most patient and lovely baker ever! thank you so so much for the talent and love you put into my mum’s 60th birthday cake. took on board every single detail and the cake came out exactly how i expected. highly recommend ! :)

Delicious cupcakes supplied by the lovely julia from happy cakes in summertown today, for the yarnton residential and care home in aid of macmillan coffee morning. friendly, fast and fabulous, and can highly recommend to anyone...... superb ! milly & andy

Amazing cake! we ordered a vegan cake for our son 1st birthday. julia was very helpful and caring since the beginning, she made a fantastic chocolate cake” jungle book” themed! the cake not only looked fabulous but it was extremely tasteful and you could never tell the difference from a non vegan one. thank you so much julia and all your team ❤️
