Chris was punctual, friendly, communicative, and did a really thorough job of cleaning our chimney and dealing with the wood burner - we had a range of issues, including a chimney that hadn't been swept for years (oops) and an incorrectly installed wood burner. he gave the burner a good clean, and even touched up a scratch that we hadn't noticed. we wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services, and to use them again ourselves.

Chris is an outstanding, intelligent and friendly professional. my thatch insurance company were so impressed by his attitude and knowledge that they made a point of commending him as a rare gem in this self-regulated and potentially dangerous stove and flue industry. do not hesitate to hire him for sweeping, installation and sound advice.

I had a cowling fitted by another company, however they didn't fit it very well and it blow off and damaged 3 tiles. after being let down several times by the original company, i contacted cbg. they rang me back the following day and he popped over to refit the cowling the day after that. fantastic service. fitted it correctly drilling it in place. he then went on to replace the tiles which were very difficult to get to. despite that he went the extra mile to get to them, fitted them. what can i say, he was great. if you need any of the services he offers. call him, friendly, professional and reasonable price. what more could you ask. thanks cgb chimney services. thanks chris

Chris is an ideal chimney sweep and in fact offers a full service - relining chimneys where needed, providing safety certificate, etc. highly recommended.
