PureGym Oxford Templars Shopping Park

This gym always has friendly staff and has a pleasant atmosphere. I never feel like I'm competing for equipment and the classes are excellent

The vibes are immaculate! The staff are fantastic; - Aaron and Adela are awesomely adept athletes. - Chris is a caring clear communicator. - Emma is enthusiastic and exemplary. - Jack and Jake are both jaunty and jacked. - Karolis is kindhearted and knowledgeable - Liam is a legitimate living legend. - Rory is a reasonably rambunctious, remarkably radient coach who is reliable and rapidly responsive. - Tom is tremendous. But the male toilets could do with increased airflow, a clear oversight by the architects.

It's got everything you would expect from a PG and the staff are nice enough but I've been to 5 different PGs this year (work/travel around a lot) and this is by far the filthiest/ messiest one. Hardly a free weight is in its right place, or else left on the floor, bottles lying around everywhere, toilets stink, chewing gum on the floor... Definitely needs a tidy.

The main benefit of PureGym is national access and generous opening hours. This gym in particular has all the equipment I like, a boditrax scanner, clean facilities and a positive atmosphere. The PT's are approachable, though I haven't had the chance to book a class yet. Edit 27/10/2022 @ 0212am They have now removed the boditrax scanner, though the rest of my review still stands.
