The DIY Man Oxford

Nick has just made me a pergola, customised to my patio area. Despite encountering some unexpected obstacles (extensive concrete in the soil), Nick persevered with a smile. He liaised with me on all the details to ensure I would be happy with the result with which I am thrilled. Despite using wider (stronger) wood for the posts than is typically used with 'off the rack' pergolas, Nick's fee was very reasonable. I got four quotes for the job and I am so pleased I chose Nick. Apart from his outstanding work, he seems to be a lovely, decent chap and a pleasure to have around.

Nick works to a very high standard..a true professional and excellent problem solver. Nothing is too much trouble and he goes the extra mile. He has just made wardrobes for my bedroom and so far painted 2 rooms and I’m delighted with his work. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Nick did an excellent job for us - the painting was done very well and efficiently, and the shelves he built were ideal. He helped us think through the best design for the space, going above and beyond to give advice, and came back quickly to touch up a couple of tiny bits we spotted.
