David Spicer Optician Oxford

I have been going to Spicer Opticians for a couple of years now and the service is exceptional. They truly care! I have also purchased both glasses and sunglasses from them and always been complimented on them. So I always appreciate their help and expertise in choosing frames that suit me.

I live on the other side of Oxford, but I cross town to come to this optician. They're worth a trip! Amir did a very good job on the eye test. Neil has a fantastic talent for helping find the right frames. He listens carefully, but also gives gentle and helpful suggestions. My partner and I both ended up with frames which we really love, and which get lots of compliments. David helped with the fine tuning, and was incredibly patient and generous with his time. Meanwhile, Cindy has done a great job for me on my contact lenses.

A massive thank you to the staff and in particular Neil Datta who patiently assisted to fix both of my Barton Perreria and Tom Ford sunglasses especially when they went I be out of shape. The knowledge this man shown and care was class. Really appreciate his time. Highly recommend this opticians. Thank you again.

I have been with David Spicer for many years now and when I was given the chance to review them I jumped at it. David Spicer are phenomenal. They’re attentive, kind and, most importantly, really care about the customer’s needs, queries and preferences. Customer service, optical expertise and a lovely environment to shop and go for regular eye checks / tests - I assure you they have it all. Huge shout out to Neil who has personally looked into getting me the exact glasses I wanted many times over and who went the extra mile in finding and giving me (for free) a replacement piece, saving me hundreds of pounds. I would wholeheartedly recommend David Spicer to anyone who’s looking for a friendly, dedicated, passionate and specialist opticians!

This was my second appointment for an eye test. Very similar to my first one about a year ago, I received a great service again! The staff was very friendly and forthcoming. Everything was well explained during my thorough eye examination. I have been given great advice to decide on the correct specification for my glasses, suitable to my needs. I also like that booking an appointment is so easy via their website. All in all, a great experience!
