Florence Park

Really lovely park with a lot of beautiful trees and a lot to do inside the park! There is tenis court, table tennis, kids playing area, cafe, refill shop, trapeze area and more!! I did not realise how well maintained it was as well. The cafe looks lovely and it is great to have footpaths that connects to this park as well! Highly recommend and will be back :)

For all ages- love taking my family for a walk, children playground and a cafe.

I live close to the park and walk there every day with my dog. It's a lovely park, but it has seen a decline in recent times. Not too long ago the flower beds were beautifully done and well kept. This is no longer the case and volunteers do their best to maintain them. It also suffers from people dropping litter all over the place. Again volunteers do their best to alleviate the problem. But the council should be doing more. I am aware that councils are being squeezed by central government and that nearly every service is contracted out to private companies. But I can't believe a council like Oxford's can't afford the upkeep of a lovely park like ours. What about a park warden? What about more benches? The upkeep of the flower beds? Not too much to ask is it?

This is a nice quiet park. Old trees create an atmosphere and make you think about our place and role in our current life!)

A beautifully kept park with something for everyone! Tennis, play parks and plenty of open space! It does shut at sundown so don’t be caught out… check signs at the entrances for exact times.
