Headington Hounds & Tinies

i was asked to find a groomer for a friends dog and not knowing much about the subject was very surprised how difficult it was to make an appointment however it was possible to get Blaker an appointment at fairly short notice we took blaker at the allotted time. his owner and Fiona were able to talk over what was required. i can not express my relief when he was picked up and both dog and owner were absolutely delighted by the results - every thing was just as required and far better than any other groomers that had been used before so i am sure he will be going back in a month or so.

Took my small 10 year old pup here as lockdown was lifted & liked that it was a small home operation. Caught some of the products used (shampoo) & noticed they were good organic products. Had the Jr groomer & she was till quite good. Total for a full groom was ~36£.

Best groomers around. Lovely people who work there and they do a fantastic job, whatever it is you need doing for your dog.

Fiona and her team went above and beyond TWICE for my pup and my furry niece! Little Nala had to come stay with us for a few weeks due to a family emergency, which meant she was away from her normal groomers as she doesn't live in Oxford. Due to COVID haulting grooms initially, little Nala had mats and was overdue a groom, but because so many places were only taking current clients we were in such a pickle! Fiona went out of her way to help us and Nala was trimmed beautifully (extra short due to the unfortunate matting - I'm more than confident that if you wanted a different longer cut for your doodle, Headington Hounds will do a wonderful job). She arranged pick up and drop off and her coat is perfectly even, we were so pleased she could make time for Nala because she was getting very hot and uncomfortable in the weather! Eevee then went to see her for her very first groom, she's a mini long haired dachshund and the day before she was due to go in we thought we would have to cancel due to not being able to pick her up. Fiona again went out of her way to find a driver for us (her normal drivers were unfortunately both off) and managed to, even though it was so last minute! I was mildly nervous about her ears and tail being cut too short because we love her natural fur, but I told Fiona this and I couldn't be happier with the result! They both looked and smelt beautiful after their cuts and having their nails trimmed and feet fur trimmed back makes me so happy (less scratches and no chance of mats between their toes!) Just an incredible all around service, went above and beyond with everything, I can't thank them enough. Their prices are incredibly reasonable too. Thanks again to everyone at Headington Hounds, I will definitely be back (or at least, Eevee will!) must be one of the best groomers in Oxford!

Fiona is a diamond! Excellent with fur babies and just a lovely lady. We just moved here and our sweet Airedale needed a nail clip. My husband normally grooms him but, he's back in Colorado. I emailed Fiona and she gave us a fast appointment, clipped Morse's nails and trimmed out his pads. I am so grateful.
