I'm not a veggie as such but fancied a change and had the nut and mushroom wellington. absolutely delicious and the veg was cooked to perfection. simply can't fault it at all. i will definitely return soon for sunday lunch!
Great pub, with decent food and beers selection. the lads behind the counter were great and offer fab service.
Nice pub with an interesting selection of beers to choose from and staff willing to give recommendations. i enjoyed the slightly perfumed ipa. point to note: we were stopping at christ church which is just across the road, and came out for a drink at old tom's but were turned away because they strangely stop ✋️ serving around 10pm. not a problem here.😄
Nice pub, good atmosphere. enjoying a good sunday afternoon local style, not too many tourists around 😊. didn't eat, so no review on the food.
If you're looking for an authentic english pub meal this is your place. the fish and chips with peas and tartare sauce is to die for. the mac and cheese bites were good too. roasted mushrooms and halloumi burger was very tasty. they have a range of beer and other spirits to choose from. we had the kiwi lime cider, watermelon lime cider and the strawberry pomegranate cider and all of them were very good as well. with a warm ambience it's a great place to spend time with family and friends over a hearty meal. 😊👍
