£5 special for fish and chips! absolutely bargain. the seating area is clean and basic but the food was really good. would definitely recommend. looks like the offer is only friday/saturday though.
Had table service lunch upstairs - waitress was rushed off her feet but still made sure customers were served quickly. food was really good, nice sized portion. highly recommend especially if you’re visiting from overseas like i was and want a real british chippy experience.
I had the fish friday special which is fish & chips for a fiver along with a couple of potato fritters which were 50p each. everything was great! fish was tasty, chunky and coated in a nice batter. chips were great and the fritters were lovely too. everything is cooked to order and i'll defintely be back! 😋 …
