A Former Glory

Martin was fantastic. quick to respond and provided all the info over and above allowing us to make an informed decision about what we wanted. we had a log burner installed included the flue, chimney clean and granite slab and surround. incredibly competitively priced and the professional finish is wonderful. he was reliable and kept in contact with us while we were trying to arrange scaffolding. could not recommend the service more highly. thank you so much we've already enjoyed many a fire and couldn't be happier.

Martin and his team (including his son tom) installed two fireplaces for us either side of christmas. we had one solid fuel and one gas insert and both look great and work a treat. martin was professional and very safe during his time in our home. he is easy going and kept us informed of our options and progress at all times. we would highly recommend his work which is of a high standard and also good value for money.

I highly recommend to everyone wishing to have a fireplace installed to look no further than a former glory. turned up on time by being 5 minutes early 2 days in a row. service i got was polite, very hard working and had a professional attitude. they are honest about pricing and what the best options were. to add i noticed very willing to stay longer to rigurously check everything was top quality and me and my partner are both chuffed with the results delivered!

Martin and his associate alex have recently fitted a multifuel stove for me. from the point of making the initial contact with martin's wife in the office until the work was completed, i was provided with an excellent service. i cannot recommend enough this company! very honest, very professional, very respectful and friendly people. i am honestly very pleased with everything they did. i have got a lot of respect for them. thank you very much!
