Excellent! Perfect amount of challenge and enjoyment. Carmen is a fabulous teacher and I thoroughly enjoy the classes.

I have been attending Carmen's weekly adult tap class on Thursdays at the main studio in Ermington Terrace. Carmen is a great teacher; very welcoming, enthusiastic and encouraging. Her classes are excellent, great fun and suitable for all levels. I would highly recommend them.

Me and my (now) husband had classes with the amazing Carmen Hawkins for our wedding here. My husband has never danced in his life and so we knew we needed some lessons in order to get at least something for the wedding's first dance. We had three one-hour sessions with Carmen and by the end of them, we had an over four minute routine that wowed our guests and had two lifts in it (upon my request)! Carmen was so wonderful and catered to our abilities in dance. She used our music to come up with a beautiful waltz and some of our guests were even in tears afterwards and a lot of people said it was the best part of the wedding! I can't thank her enough for being so kind and patient with us and for choreographing such a beautiful dance for our wedding. If you're getting married and would like some choreography for your first dance, I thoroughly recommend Plymouth Dance Academy. Thanks again to Carmen, our dance was truly something to remember and cherish.
