The Chip Stop

Always great fish and chips and really good for Gluten Free batter. All the GF food is cooked in the chip oil and not with the other fish. Lovely service and very freshly cooked to order. You can phone an order through for later pickup. A range of wines and cold drinks are available.

First time of trying food from here a few days ago the fish was lovely chips was just right hubby really enjoyed his fritters and your gravy is so tasty will be back again fab service and very polite over all you are worth the 5 stars or more

I love the fish here. I love the crunchy batter & portion sizes. Service is great. Very attentive staff. To be able to pick up a bottle of decent white wine with my fish & chips is a bonus. The shop is always very clean which gives you confidence in whats happening out back. A good find, a hidden gem.

Our first visit earlier this evening. A long queue outside the door is always a good sign of quality and we weren't disappointed. The fish and chips were top quality: the fish was cooked perfectly and the batter was light and crisp. Plymouth is a fish and chips town, and the Chip Stop has to up there amongst the best. Highly recommended.
