Elfordleigh Hotel

We live locally, so used only the spa facilities but we have had a great experience. Changing rooms, corridors, steam room, sauna and swimming pool area were spotless clean. Staff was very nice and polite, explained everything for us because we were there first time. Definitely we will be back again and already recommended to my friends.

The Hotel is good, the surrounding area is nice. The swimming pool is clean, a nice gym. The receptionists are great, helpful in everything and very friendly. The prices of food in the restaurant are acceptable and not expensive. The waiter at the bar is great 👍 very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are large, spacious. What we didn't like about the hotel is housekeeping. Upon arrival, the room was clean. But other days poor cleaning. When we came back to the hotel, there wasn't vacuumed, dust. I think that is the basis of cleaning. Changing bed of linen only on request, not automatically. That's what we were told. Otherwise, everything was ok, only housekeeping during the stay, poor cleaning.

For a bit of peace and luxury for us, we booked this as a short break with the dogs included for a little extra. The room was spacious and the cleaning team accommodated our requests, all the staff were polite and friendly, we love the swimming pool and spa/gym. Also the woodland walk is lovely to explore. We dined in the brasserie most evenings which matched gourmet pub prices, they went above and beyond for daughter as we had arrived later than expected and 15 minutes out of time for a meal but the chef cooked up anyway, so thank you for another great stay

We had a fantastic stay for our anniversary, the grounds are beautiful, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable some of the paintwork needed a little touch up. We ate in the restaurant the food was really good the staff did their best, some just needed a little more experience. The music was random, it was a best of 90s hip hop album which didn’t quite fit the atmosphere of the restaurant but was entertaining none the less. Despite not getting it quite right in the restaurant the food was very good, steak and chocolate fondant, well cooked and good quality ingredients. Overall it was a very nice stay and we enjoyed our night here.
