I have not had any experience in care however, the shadowing process at Helping Hands has proved to be invaluable. After hearing many horror stories about being expected to provide care to the vulnerable without any/much understanding or gradual hands on experience, I was reluctant to join Helping Hands. After speaking to office staff it became apparent that Helping Hands take an interest in those they employ by ensuring adequate training and hands on experience is provided before each carer is allowed to practice on their own. All the staff are ready to help should any difficulties arise and work colleagues in the field do the job because they genuinely care.... it makes all the difference to those that depend on them. I feel that a happy workforce produces happy customers - Helping Hands has this business model running through their core - they care about their staff and their customers.
