When we arrived at the hotel the lady on reception asked the nature of our visit and i advised it was my friends birthday and she very kindly gave us a complimentary late check out, a voucher for a bottle of prosecco from the bar and vouchers for a free breakfast the following morning! the room was clean and comfortable and there was a huge selection for breakfast in the morning! the staff were all friendly and helpful and we will defiantly be back! the girls is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the city centre, shopping centre, aquarium and harbour area!
Great location, right in town centre, had all necessary amenities and is close to local attractions; only 10min walk from the marina. the room was spacious, very clean, and quiet, and air-conditioning helped not to rely on opening windows as overlooked the main road. the wifi connection was stable and good and could enjoy online browsing without interruption. overall, it was a great hotel experience and good value for money. i would definitely stay here again next time i visit.
My partner & i stayed at the leonardo hotel on a saturday night. our room was lovely, a really comfortable bed in a large clean room. reception staff were happy & friendly, as were the bar staff. we will definitely be back
I have been travelling back and forth from plymouth for work the past couple of months and i can honestly say this the best hotel i have stayed in. i have stayed in a couple of other hotels in plymouth and this has been by far the best. the room was cozy and the reception staff was extremely helpful and customer service was on-point, the reception staff rob and raquel were very helpful with the check-in and check our procedure. there was another gentlemen on reception at night time around 10:30 on the 30th october 2023 who was also very helpful and even ended up giving a complimentary checkout until 4pm because i mentioned that i needed to work remotely and had calls to take. the manager was also helpful and even offered me space in the conference rooms to work in. the food quality and taste was really good, from breakfast to room service and i would definitely recommend this hotel and going forward this will be my choice for the next year or so while i work in plymouth.
Booked for an overnight stay whilst dropping son to university. the car park costs £10 for 24 hrs. when we got into reception, there were two members of staff behind the desk, one of whom seemed to be having difficulties with something. despite being there for some time, neither member of staff acknowledged our presence, leaving us feeling rather like spare parts. the room was nice enough, clean, comfortable and air-conditioned, which was a relieve on the hottest day of the year! the bed and pillows were comfy, and the curtains did a good job of keeping the room dark after sunrise. unfortunately, the food in the restaurant was unsuitable, due to there being garlic in/on almost every dish. breakfast was very enjoyable, lots of cooked options. the pastry selection, however, was very poor. there were plenty of drink options. it's worth booking breakfast at the time of making your reservation, as it makes it cheaper. check-out was quick and easy. the hotel is located quite centrally, and very convenient for lots of shops and attractions.
