Great submariners pub.. Good booze, good atmosphere and you can bring in your own takeaway from anywhere on the barbican to chill and eat it with a pint!

Real ale pub, full of old characters to match the interior. Full on a Thursday night. May not be for everyone. Good pint, friendly staff. I will return when I'm back in the area

Bass paradise (The beer not the fish) served straight from the barrel on the back fitting. Whenever I am in Plymouth I make sure to visit the Dolphin, excellent ale and a very nice atmosphere.

The best pub in Plymouth, great real ale amazing atmosphere, my local for quite a few years before I moved back up north xx

Perhaps my favourite pub in the South West. Wonderfully preserved in an ever changing world, this pub has remained the same since I started drinking some 45yrs ago. Oozes character. Best kept Bass and Tribute for miles around, straight out of the barrel. An absolute gem, but don't tell anyone, I don't want it to get too busy!
