Staff very friendly,wonderful pub(americans and visitors to england) would love it it's about 700 years old , food great and good wine, definitely will go again. they also have music at times.
Sumptuous split level stone building, a wide range of drinks available, the multi room layout offers a great choice of areas to enjoy.
Very nice vintage atmosphere. you pretend to be a knight or some kind of lord. there were delicious mussels in sauce and pork ribs. very tasty, but the mussels were kind of small. parents came to visit from another country and they liked it, it is important for us. we will visit again.
