I found myself left to my own devices for the afternoon after leaving my partner to shop with friends, and so I chose Cosy Club as my base to have lunch and a some drinks - and glad I did! You always feel a bit “billy no mates” on your own at this type of place but I was made to feel welcome and given the option of a table in the restaurant, or near the entrance/lobby area - I chose the later. Staff were very attentive but clearly hot on their feet busy, too. I chose the Rib Eye cooked medium, with fries and added Garlic Mushrooms. It was actually really tasty, well seasoned and cooked. Nice and flavoursome 👌🏼 Portion size it felt a little mean for the money, could easily of had more fries to make it more of a meal. I was still very hungry after, almost ordered a side plate after. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I want to say it’s a bit like a posh version of a Wetherspoon’s but that would be doing it a disservice! For my dinner, a pint of Amstel and a coke it was about £36 + service tip. I’d go back.
