I contracted Richard to do a number of jobs for me, all of which were done with the upmost professionalism and high standards. He installed all of my lighting on the ground floor, in every room. The kitchen, in particular, was cumbersome as my initial electrician didn't finish the job. First fix was completed but didn't indicate where the wires for the 14 spotlights were located behind the plastered ceiling. By looking at some pictures I took by chance and a bit of creativity, Richard managed to locate the position of the wires and successfully install without any unnecessary damage. I later asked him to install lighting in our garden and we couldnt be happier with the end result! It looks fantastic with all of the wires hidden away discreetly! Excellent, competent and friendly electrician that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Richard rescued us on a Sunday when we lost all our downstairs lighting. He was able to resolve the faults and get our lights back on. This is the second time we have used his services and we cannot fault his workmanship. He is such a nice guy and we can thoroughly recommend him for all electrical services.

Richard Blackmore provided me with excellent service - his initial response was prompt and noticeably helpful and this was followed by a fair price quotation and a timely appointment date. He arrived on time, set about the work, completed it to my entire satisfaction and tidied up afterwards. We discussed a few other electrical issues around the house and having done some additional testing he offered sound advice that avoided unnecessary expense. Statutory paperwork for the original work and an invoice for the agreed amount (with no charge for the additional testing) arrived later the same day. In short, Richard attended to every aspect of the transaction with conspicuous professonalism and I recommend him accordingly. It is a real pleasure to have come across someone who provides such outstanding service.

Called as my RCD switch had tripped and couldn’t get it back on. Answered immediately and talked me through locating locating where the problem was which meant I could get the fridge freezer etc back on. Super helpful and patient with an electrical numpty like me. Wouldn’t hesitate to call again if I needed work done. Thanks a mill 😊
