The Searson Family Funeral Service

I cannot thank Debi and Andy enough (the owners of Searson and Family Funeral Services in Portsmouth) for helping myself, and my family, through such an awful time. They are in our opinions, one of the nicest and most genuine couples you would ever want to meet, but maybe under better circumstances obviously. Having said that however, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending their funeral services at a time when you will need the personal support that this family business can offer. Both Debi and Andy were professional, but so warm and that meant a lot to me and our family, when we had just lost our brother Al. They both made us feel settled as much as we could be and there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for them to help us with. Losing someone is always a really emotional time and full of sadness, and that is still how I feel today. But I thank both Debi and Andy for everything they did for our family and most of all, for our brother Al - Thank you both of you. Doug & Trace

The team at Searson were amazing in every way, as we dealt with the loss of our teenage daughter Grace. They handled each step of the process with compassion and an understanding of how we wanted the funeral service to show the love of God and our faith in her place in Heaven. Lily was fantastic - I’m only 23 and can’t say I thought I’d ever have to plan a funeral at this age but unfortunately my mum passed away very suddenly a few weeks back. Lily was so knowledgable and understanding, she took me through all the steps and explained everything in great detail. I really feel I couldn’t have done this without her, so I am really pleased that we chose Searsons. The care team put so much love into making my mum look lovely - although tough to see, she looked beautiful and at peace. And lastly, Andy was amazing. He took my jumbled notes on mum’s life and put them together beautifully, managing to make us laugh and cry with one sentence. You can tell he loves his work and puts his all into it. I can’t thank everyone at Searsons enough for helping us through the most difficult time. Xx

My dad's funeral was as fitting a tribute as there could have possibly have been and I can't thank you, Andy, (who is amazing at what he does), and everyone else involved enough for putting it together at such short notice. If ever there were people who have found their vocation in life and use it to help others it is you. Thank you. Ian. H

Would like to say a massive thank you to the searson family for giving my husband the best send off anyone could wish for. You all are truly caring and I would highly recommend you to everyone. Thank you again for all you did for us from the beginning to the end. You made us smile on a sad day.
