Portsmouth Golf Course

June 2023. Hard fast fairways at the moment. Many holes uphill, downhill or with very sloping fairways. A good course for the money. Breakfast is pretty good too!

Course is in need of some serious t l c , tees and bunkers very poor, greens were patchy but ok, fairways were good, price of green fees is competitive and got a buggy on the sunchaser deal for £12.50 so that was good. Pro shop was closed and bar very quiet, sad to see, course needs investment.

The views from the course are beautiful, and as a course it is very enjoyable to play with some challenging holes. However the tees are not that well kept and they seem to struggle with people vandalising the greens by riding motor bikes etc on them. That said I thoroughly enjoyed my round their and could look past the above. Would play again

First time playing in over six years, good course for all golfers. Well looked after. Green keepers were all friendly and welcoming. I was too early for the clubhouse/shop to be open to comment. But overall pleasant experience will be returning.

Lovely golf course in a nice location, well kept fairways and okay greens. Well priced round of 18. Please note there is not much shade or sun relief so this course can get very hot with the lack of a breeze. Unfortunately there are a lack buggies at this course as they seem to be booked out in advance
