Portsmouth Marriott Hotel

Slightly disappointed with this Marriott. Nothing major but little issues. The interior is pretty standard and the room was quiet regarding outside noise. Air con did work but made a constant knocking noise. Staff were pleasant. Some minor issues with the housekeeping. The bar was closed at 11pm.

Friendly staff, good breakfast with plenty of food choice. Rooms clean and spacious. We shared the room with my colleague and it was enough space for both. Large comfortable bed, good shower. Everything you need on a business trip.

This was an alright place. But out of town and without a car a bit awkward. Room had loads of lamps that needed turning on by switch’s instead of a big light. Cozy but annoying. Toilet was so close to the bath it was uncomfortable. So much do the seat was bent at an angle to make it possible to use. Inside room, so only a view of the bar, makes it feel a bit grim in the room without daylight. Staff were excellent and food was really good. Would stay again.
