Travelodge Portsmouth

A bit tired but the bed was comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. Could do with a bigger TV in the room. Breakfast does not start till 8am but you can have a breakfast bag instead.

Could of been cleaner , found a few stray grapes under the bed that my toddler tried to consume . Beds were alright . No air con which was a bit of a bummer as the hotel seems to trap heat on. Hot day and was like a furnace. Staff on the desk were lovely

Friendly helpful welcome on our return trip from France. Hotel couldn't be nearer to ferry port. Room scoring loses a star because shower is step into the bath which is unusable by elderly or disabled guests. This includes 'accessible rooms' .

Very happy with our stay. Very practical if you are taking the ferry to the continent. Easy walk to shops, good parking.

I only one complaint about this hotel and that was the noise of air-conditioning from what I assume was the hungry horse below our room. It was on all night like being an airplane, windows shut. Aside from that one issue the site is perfect for getting into Portsmouth, Big car park, hungry horse for food and drink. The reception staff were brilliant, very helpful for all our needs. I'd definitely stay here again but would insist on a room not over the noisy area.
