Kadir's Indian Street Kitchen | Indian Restaurant and Takeaway Southsea

ordered a takeaway on Uber Eats and was slightly disappointed. the curries (and the veggie samosas!) were delicious, but the servings rather small. we ordered one mighty meal and one separate meal and the curry from mighty meal was much smaller. the complimentary onion chutney was just raw onions in a plastic bag with barely any tomatoes.

This has become our new favourite place to eat. Nice twist on Indian food and pretty cheap. Can bring your own drinks which is brilliant. Have also had large parties here and no issues.

We only popped in for a takeaway but will DEFINITELY be coming back to dine in at some point. The staff were lovely and even offered us a drink as we were waiting. The food was delicious and they had a wide variety of vegetarian options to choose from.

Came across Kadir's after passing by on the bus and liking the look. Kadir is a very friendly and personable host and the food is great. It's a bring-your-own beer/wine establishment, but they sell soft drinks. Corkage is very reasonable.

This place was recommended by a friend, so the two of us took my mum along, early one Friday evening. It was quiet when we got there, so the chef/owner said hello and then made a couple of recommendations for my mum, who's got quite a low chili tolerance. She had a Peshwari chicken (see pic) and a Peshwari naan, and was well pleased. My friend and I went for a couple of hotter dishes (chili garlic chicken and the day's special, as recommended by the chef, lamb and cabbage) and a couple of sides (mushroom bhuna and a saag bhaji). Long story short, the food was lovely, the service was excellent, and we'll definitely be back 😀
