Fine Voice Academy

Love it. Fine Voice has done so much for my daughter's confidence and really brought out her strengths. Simon is a fabulous teacher and everyone supports each other with their performances and so there is a real family feel from such a professional academy.

I am a piano player and started taking singing lessons with Simon because I was looking for some vocal coaching - not only to improve my singing voice and confidence on stage, but also to learn the techniques that would prevent me burning my voice out after only a few numbers. Simon has an operatic background and is an experienced performer - since working with Simon not only has my voice improved and strengthened, but I have also learnt a lot about the technical art of singing and the human voice. Thanks to Simon's teaching I find I am more relaxed on stage, and I am finding it easier to tackle songs that I previously thought were in keys that were too high for me. Lessons are relaxed and we have fun working together. Simon is well studied and passionate about teaching and sharing his knowledge - he personally strives to give students every opportunity to improve and achieve. At Fine Voice students get the opportunity (if desired) to take part and perform in external events and performances outside of lessons, and also attend the chorus groups and choirs that Fine Voice runs. Whatever style of music you are interested in singing, or whether you are interested in doing exams, singing for pleasure, or professional coaching I would recommed Fine Voice Singers Academy.

My daughter has been going to the fine voice singers Academy for over a year now, and have always been impressed with the academy. My daughter always loved to sing but not quite in tune, after a year with Simon, my daughter now sings for many charity events and is becoming a very pleasurable singer. Fine voice Academy has always been fun for my daughter and so much so I am now enjoying the benefits of singing to. I would recommend Simon to anyone that loves and wants to sing.

I must say how impressed I am over Fine Voice Singers Academy in Portsmouth. My daughter has always had a nice singing voice, but after working with Tenor Simon she has just gone above all expectations. Simon's teaching is exemplary and he is a genius with his students. My grandson has just completed a week's work experience with fine voice academy. Cameron was over joyed with Simon and all he was taught and jobs he got to do. Sorting microphones testing them, practicing script for Camerons up coming footloose show. Lots of shadowing watching Simon teach choir lessons. Cameron has some additional needs . Thank you Simon for all you've done this week for Cameron, he is like a changed boy so excited about all you've taught him. Keep up your excellent work. This is a wonderful experience.
