Beautiful Portsmouth with so much to offer. Attended the kite show which was free and family oriented. Well organised with free parking by the grounds. There are clean toilets nearby the seafront. Given where I live, price on ice cream , gelato and food is really reasonable. Would defo visit again when it’s not too busy to explore the city more.

It's a beautiful park, set in an ideal location. Family and pet friendly, shame about the few inconsiderate people who leave rubbish and burn the grass with BBQ's and smoke other families out. Plenty of bins that aren't full within walking distance of the full ones, buy a BBQ with legs and be considerate to others with your BBQ smoke. A place that everyone can enjoy, shame on the few!

It’s a very large field. I went there while the The magic of Thailand festival was on. There are lots of bins 🗑️ which was great as it reduces the amount of litter chucked on the ground. However toilets can be far away so would be nicer if there were more toilets.

Went for the kite festival, loads of parking and very family friendly. An under 8 year old water park area and loads of picnic areas. Dogs welcome and lots to see around the common.

Lovely place to hold festivals etc Only saw 1 toilet with large queue. Traffic was a nightmare! My daughter drove round everywhere, looking to park and just got stuck in jams. People just abandoned their cars anywhere so I didn't get to see my daughter as she gave up and went home
