Spinnaker Tower

A good viewing tower in the heart of Portsmouth, with views for miles, including to the Isle of Wight and beyond. Nice cafe up at the top too. Big downside is the blue tinted windows, meaning photos look poor - luckily photoshop can help with that. And the garden at the very top is all fake plants/grass - not exactly a garden. Overall a nice place to visit, but a bit over priced for what it is

This was my second visit to the Spinnaker Tower, first time was nearly 8 years ago with my God son and on 9th October 2023 with my wife. The experience is still good and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and professional, the Spinnaker Tower is one of the main tourist attraction in Portsmouth. Ideally located by the sea and a massive shopping centre.

Spinnaker tower is brilliant once you get to the top! It's a lovely view and I also saw a concert going on when I was up there. I had a look at the telescope and saw lots of things. It is a little bit pricey though. The glass floor is so fun to go on! I definitely recommend this if you have the money.

Booked a high tea, which includes access to the tower and the sky garden. Breath taking views from the top floor, I absolutely loved it. It's located within the Gunwharf Quays, which has ample parking space and loads of shopping retailers. It's just a few minutes' walk from the train station, bus station, and the Portsmouth historic dockyard. Amazing family day out. Note that the tower can get really warm at the height of summer due to the glass.

I went with three friends, we puchased the tickets on the gate which was costly so tickets should be booked in early. The view from the top is surreal, you can also see Isle of Wight. There is a glass floor which is quiet interesting. We really enjoyed 😉.
