The service is quick and food 10/10! Wasn’t able to take proper photo as it was so yummy we ate it immediately 😂 i love the chicken wings! Best in Portsmouth i have tasted 😍

Lived up to the word on the street. Great food and atmosphere. We were well looked after. This family run restaurant is un-pretentious and good value. Decent size portions. I'd love to see some more vegan options and the restaurant is unlicensed so alcohol free. Will definitely be back. Tell your friends.

Great meal here! Food was excellent and great portion sizes and all authentic. Service was great, the staff are very friendly. Lots of people eating here and a great atmosphere all round. We will be back!

With the chill of winter biting hard we decided to try a sit in kebab after our ride in place of a curbside van. We chose the Mehmet kitchen as it is close to a friends house who is currently unable to ride but still able to eat 👍 there is also room to park the bikes out front of the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and well laid out but lacked atmosphere, loud music and abrupt staff did not add to the ambiance. Conversation was difficult as well as ordering with the waiter also being unable to hear us clearly. The food though was okay but nothing really special and was certainly not worth the premium price we paid to be able to sit down and eat. The fries were definitely the winner over the meat which had been over cooked on the grill turning it into some sort of meat crisps... Drinks were served in the can which I found unusual given that restaurant prices not take away prices were in play. My companions did enjoy the salad but I do think that a single chopped up pita bread split between three diners with dips was a tad meagre as a table starter... I did have a little chuckle to myself when some of the staff sat down to eat at the table behind us, after a few minutes they got up and turned the music down as even they were unable to chat! Would I dine here again, highly unlikely, the food was nothing special and the extra cost of dining in made the whole evening lack lustre and I would rather put on an extra layer of clothing and head to a kebab van for a meaty treat that is above and beyond 👍

We want to go that place from very long time because we had a lot of suggestions from friends, family even customers . And finally we managed to go and have I dinner there. Just I can say after 4 years as we moved to Portsmouth this is the BEST place in Portsmouth to have a nice properly cooked and taste good. Just everything what we had was unbelievably tasty 😋😋😋 with a lot of mmmmm after every bite. And now easily I can suggest that place for everyone who wants to have tasty foods and 7 ⭐ service. Definitely is my favourite place now and I am sure soon will be your one as well after your visit. Thanks guys.
