I have used BJM upholstery since 1992 & have just had my three piece suite upholstered again by them. Absolutely outstanding service, the finish is top quality. Alan & Mark do an amazing job, I can totally recommend them for any upholstery jobs you may have. Fantastic choice of materials & they are so polite & accommodating to your requirements. Absolutely beautiful workmanship, Alan & Mark are true craftsman at the top of their business. Great advice given for range of fabrics to sympathetic restoration of my beloved Aunts (deceased) G Plan suite originally bought in 1963. Definitely recommend them and have on FB G Plan site. They have had rave reviews there too.

Absolutely delighted with our reupholstered sofa. We bought it about 10 years ago from a charity shop and it fitted our space perfectly, but was in desperate need of attention.. Alan guided us through our choices of fabrics and cushions. When the fabric was delivered he took the sofa and delivered it back a week later. It is now so much more comfortable and looks amazing. A professional and efficient service, would definitely recommend.

A 5 Star service from start to finish. We had 2 rather tired window seat cushions superbly covered by Alan and Mark and within the original quoted price. BJM will be our 'go-to' people for all our upholstery needs moving forward.

I am fairly new to Portsmouth and so did not know where to go for upholstery help. With Google I found two companies and I am SO glad that I opted for BJM. They always did exactly as they said, from ringing me back, talking me through the fabric books, advising me on advantages/disadvantages of different fabrics, collecting and returning my two armchairs as promised. The quality of work is great and I have two lovely ’new’ chairs as a result- both a lot more beautiful and comfortable to sit on than before. So - I have asked them to do the same for a sofa that needs some tlc. Thank you both.

The business was recommended to me by a friend, who had two chairs beautifully recovered by Allan and Mark. Friendly and efficient service with a wealth of fabrics to choose from. My two Duresta armchairs now look fantastic in their new material, with all the detailing exactly as before. Will happily use Alan and Mark again and recommend them to others.
