I recently booked a consultation with Iona at Eternal Health after my husband had been seeing her for chiropractic care. He kept telling me how much more effective it had been for him compared with the countless amounts I had been spending on physio and sports massages for my ongoing back issues. I finally decided to give it a try, and I am so glad I did. Iona completely opened my eyes to what was actually contributing to my back pain, including the posture I had been holding and the underlying issues that I had never really considered. She was brilliant at explaining the science behind everything in a way that was easy to understand, without overwhelming me with technical terminology. Most importantly, she gave me practical advice and exercises that I could actually incorporate into my everyday life. I left my consultation genuinely blown away by the amount of knowledge I had gained from someone who clearly really knows her stuff. I was so impressed that I immediately booked consultations for both of my teenage children, one of whom has recently undergone major surgery following the diagnosis of a condition. What amazed me most was how accurately Iona identified issues that we had been experiencing over the previous few months, without me initially giving her any of that information. She was able to demonstrate areas of weakness in their posture, explain why they were occurring, and help us understand what needed to be worked on to support long-term health and wellbeing. The improvements in their alignment were noticeable even after the adjustments, and I have already booked our follow-up appointments. I came away from both of my children's consultations with pages of notes, practical things to work on and a much better understanding of how important it is to look after our bodies now, rather than waiting until problems develop. I honestly cannot thank Iona at Eternal Health enough for the knowledge and understanding she has given me about both myself and my children. It feels like we have all learned so much about our bodies and how we can take better care of them, and I genuinely believe that this knowledge will help us lead healthier lives in the long term. I would wholeheartedly recommend Iona to anyone who is looking beyond simply treating symptoms and wants to properly understand their body, posture and overall physical health. An exceptional experience from start to finish!
