Fireground

Great museum for both the young and the old. Lots of historical information and interactive games for the children. Large selection of exhibits too. The on-site cafe and toilets an added bonus. Lots of friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We worth a visit.

really interesting and a lot more there than we expected! the volunteers were nice and offered more info about various items. had a lot for children. there were current firemen and an engine in the yard too. a small shop with lots of children and a nice looking cafe inside

An excellent museum with details of fire fighting across the years. Some unique exhibits that you are asked not to touch or climb on but there are plenty that you can touch. Kids can try on helmets and uniforms, also sit in the drivers seat …
