Amesbury History Centre

Really enjoyed the exhibition this week (12th October 2023) a celebration of women of influence at Amesbury since Stonehenge to present day. Friendly staff and great little coffee shop in foyer ☺️

We did the elf hunt around town, and then walked around the history centre. There was lots to read, activities for children and a wekcome in the cafe afterwards too.

A newly opened venue with a cafe and small gift shop. There was a small exhibition but the main upstairs area is not yet open. We were greeted by two enthusiastic and friendly people who clearly have a passion for what they do. Gift shop prices are a little high, but they sell some unusual items.
