Galton Valley Pumping Station

A former pumping station now open as a canal heritage museum. I'm not sure if it has been temporarily closed because of the COVID situation, but under normal circumstances, it has a monthly opening days during the warmer months. You can also feed the ducks on the canal. There is a free car park nearby as well.

Only been in the off season. So not yet been on a open day inside. Canal towpath towards the tunnel was very muddy in winter. But ok close to the pumping station.

Visited the pump for the first time. Nice museum and excellent team of volunteers.
