PSS Landscaping

I hired PSS Landscaping in April 2025 to build a new patio, replace an existing one, and carry out some fence work. I paid for materials upfront, with a start date agreed for 12th May. Unfortunately, the job was delayed three times and didn’t begin until 3rd June. While the quality of the work completed was good, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The team was taken off the job partway through, and communication and reliability quickly became major issues. Despite repeated promises that the job would be completed before my holiday on 23rd June, this did not happen. By that point, they had run out of slabs and left the site in a poor state—tools removed but debris left behind, including my old fence and large boards covered in sand. I was promised they would return after my holiday, but this never materialised. Over the following months, I received numerous reassurances, dates, and excuses, yet no progress was made and materials were never delivered. By the end of September, Scott offered to waive the remaining balance by way of apology but continued to give empty promises about returning to finish the job. After yet another missed deadline in February, I decided to take legal action. Scott did not respond, and a CCJ was issued to cover the cost of completing the work and purchasing the remaining materials—money I have still not received 6 weeks later. A pile of sand and hardcore was also left on my driveway for months, forcing us to park on the road until I finally managed to get someone to remove it just before Christmas. Even then, I was promised the work would resume after the holidays, which again did not happen. As it stands, I am left with an unfinished patio (not grouted), an incomplete second patio with no steps and a significant portion still unlaid, no fence work completed, and damage to my lawn where the grass has died. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others not to use PSS Landscaping
