The Old Hop Pole

The pub is alright and looks a bit rough from the outside which is probably a natural expectation being West Bromwich but the drink is good and the staff are alright aswell. Good for a quick one if you're going by. Recommended. There is parking on the road but usually full.

Great old pub we have always promised ourselves a call in and it was a great place ..great atmosphere proper old pub. We loved it. People were very friendly. Obvs we were strangers in the midst but everyone was welcoming and friendly..we will call again

I had heard a lot about this place being a great real ale pub, so I thought I'd check it out. I have to say in that aspect, it wasn't all everyone cracks it up to be, the selection was very basic. Bloke behind the bar was friendly enough, so service was great, and it was an ok place to chill out in for a couple of pints.
