City Road Garage Ltd

Been using this garage for nearly ten years. It's my go-to place except in emergencies that happen out of their business hours. Even then I'll wait till they open if I possibly can. They saved me from replacing my whole exhaust a few years ago when there was nothing wrong with it but another garage had told me it was badly rusted. Thankfully I hadn't had the cash on me to fix it at the time so I took it to city road a few days later only to find out the noise I was hearing was something completely different. So I could have paid £600 and still been driving a faulty car!! This was five years on and my exhaust is still working fine!

A garage which keeps its customers informed is a rare thing but City Road garage did when I took my car in for an MOT. They did a great job and I will use them again in the future.

Brilliant service from start to finish, booked in for MOT, arrived on the time slot, car was straight in no messing. The car failed on a bearing i knew it would, straight on to the phone they booked a part in, told me to bring it back the next day at 8:30, again arrived on time and straight on with it. Was told the time it would be done, bang on the time they rang and said it was ready, even came and picked me up to collect the car (My knees and Granville Rd onto City Rd don't agree with each other !!!). Paid the quoted price, no hidden extras, on the whole from start to finish an excellent job, great lads too, very friendly and likeable, not like the faceless garages we see today, proper mechanics and not plug and play technicians. Will definitely use again and will recommend to others.
