China Red Restaurant 满庭红川菜馆

I went to China Red with a friend of mine for a taste of the Asian cuisine in Sheffield. There was an immediate judging from me due to how the outside looked and the graffiti however you should not judge how it looked. We went in to a beautiful restaurant with such polite staff. I experienced great quality of service from a small friendly restaurant environment. The chopsticks were authentic and not the cheap wooden ones. The lady from yesterday offered an amazing service and recommended me a beautiful beef dish. The flavours from the food came bursting out. The beef was mouth watering, the meat was tender. I will 100% be coming back again and the food was very affordable. We ended up buying 2 mains, 2 sides and 2 drinks for a cool £28.50, this was buying the more expensive meals on offer and yet for this quality of food was a great bang for your buck. I was expecting to pay £40-50 and so I had to leave a tip for the overall service. 3 ways id describe the food would be authentic, mouth-watering and high quality. Thank you for the service China Red I will be here again 100%.

Fantastic restaurant. Me and my wife called in 3 weeks ago after Watching a show at the Lyceum. Not very busy at 7pm on a Saturday evening. The service was friendly and quick. I had spicy egg fried rice(which was delicious) and a beef curry. My wife had egg fried rice, with beef and garlic sprouts(even though they look like green beans on the photo) my wife loved it, also I tried her dish and it was excellent. This meal, and 3 drinks between us was just over £55. Two very satisfied customers. We will return when we are next in Sheffield. Lots of choices, highly recommend. Thank you china red!

I was walking through the city centre around 3:00PM looking for a restaurant. Then I saw this restaurant and I would like to try something new and I thought that chinese will be a good option. So I decided to try it the atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice . Soon after get into the restaurant I asked them for menu. It was a bit difficult for me to choose what to order then I selected House special fried rice. It won’t take to long they gave my lunch with in a short time. The cost of it was £9.50 and they also included the service fee which is £1 so total £10.50. The special fried rice was really tasty and I really liked it.The minimum payment by card is £10.

Went today for the first time. Just for a quick lunch . We had the prawn toast Hot and sour prawn soup Beef noodles The noodles were HUGE and so good. The beef was very tender. Flavour was perfect. Easily enough for two to share for a lunch The soup had the most amazing flavour but unfortunately was just pure vinegar. Was so so strong and left me unable to eat it. The sauce was so good apart from that. I was burping vinegar for hours after. It also had 2 tiny frozen prawns in. It's only £4.50 so that's fine. But the vinegar was bad. The prawn toast was amazing. Super thick chunky prawn Service was fantastic and quick.
