After being in the doldrums of letting With local estate agents, who seemingly are unable to cope with the changing market and its new laws and regulation. I decided to speak to Haybrook Estate agents and was introduced to Sharon Owen. As a business they have given a local contact and have local offices. Together we drew up a plan of my expectations and Sharon advised on how I could improve my rental yield with some simple renovations. After 6 months of working with Sharon I cannot recommend her and the people she works with enough. Her enthusiasm, communication and passion for her job is outstanding. She has been there via phone, txt or email at all hours of the day and night. Her team are available at weekends and actually resolve problems and implement strategies to take care of any problem a tenant has. So to sum up, if you think the rental market is at the end of the road and you want to sell and get out, don’t do anything until you talk to Sharon and her team. They will help and they will turn things around for you, just as they have done for me.

I had an awful experience when trying to rent with Haybrook Sheffield branch. They kept me out of the loop, and I found the manager Sharon to be extremely rude and spoke down to me, which only showed to me they have no regard for their tenants and I wasn't even living in one of their properties yet! The landlords also agreed that they were unhappy from their end with how she'd spoken to me. I was supposed to move in to the property in January 2023 and they let me know 2 days before my moving in date that I wouldn't be able to move in. I had to chase them for updates and only received responses anywhere from days later to 2 weeks later. The only person I had a pleasant experience with was Molly who was lovely and very kind and understanding. I've not heard great things about this branch from other people and I do not recommend. If I look to rent in the future I will not be using Haybrook and certainly not this branch.

Chloe is a fantastic human with a great soul. We met her at a viewing venue, and we could tell from Chloe’s interaction with us that she understood our situation and ready to offer bespoke service to meet our needs. The UK system is full of straight-jacket boxes you have to fit into. We found Chloe, and by extension Haybrook, as one of those few intelligent and effective organisations with human touch-to meet your real estate needs in the UK. Empathy , professionalism and out-of-the box-thinking, are the shining qualities deduced from interacting with Chloe.

We used Haybrook to manage our property as we were overseas landlords renting our flat out, and were highly dissatisfied by their services. Their communication was awful - Katie would go weeks (was 6 weeks at one point) where she ignored our multiple emails. Despite it being in the contract that they would do a property visit every year (we even checked the box to do one within the first 3 months), they never visited the property in the 2 years we rented it out. As a compensation for this, they agreed to do the checkout service for free (something we thought was included anyway). I had to chase receiving the report as a month after the tenants left, I had heard nothing. When I eventually received it, it was very poor - Ryan listed everything as 'good' despite there being large items missing (coffee table, microwave) and things broken including curtains being pulled down and lamps broken. When I questioned this, he said he had not seen the original inventory before doing the report so did not know the condition of the property. Extremely poor service, especially communication, from the second the tenants moved it - save your money, time and effort and avoid Haybrook.

We've had an exceptional experience with Chloe at Haybrook, church Street. Professional and always available she answered all the questions we had. She dealt with the full process of listing our property and found us the perfect tenants within 3 days. She's incredibly good at her job. Highly recommended!!!
