Ponsford

We recently purchased carpets from Ponsfords and the service was just perfect. The fitters (Graham and Connor), were polite and excellent at their job. (Thanks for the special finish on the bottom step Connor, it looks lovely). They were so good at finishing everything off I didn’t even have to vacuum! Thanks also to fitters Dave, Paul & Will who jumped in to help on the second day to ensure that the job was finished on time. Our carpets look amazing, thank you. We would never buy our carpets from anywhere else.

Invited to help find a corner sofa for a family room I went for the first time in over 30 years. Such a fantastic choice of really beautiful sofas. Prices on the high side (although currently there's a sale) but you could see that they were real quality and would last many many years. Plenty of styles from modern to more traditional and many shown in room style settings. Great selection of fabric swatches and choice of style feet from wood to brushed stainless. We chose a sofa and was able to choose the correct size modules to fit the room space using a magnetic planner. Lots of beautiful dining tables, units, wall art and ornaments too. There is even a cafe to have a cuppa and piece of cake whilst you decide. Ample on site parking. My only problem is I saw the perfect sofa for me, best start saving!

Great family run shop, fantastic staff they go far and beyond to help, outstanding quality furniture, going to purchase some furniture from there very soon would 100% recommendation

The shop offers a good selection of various types of furniture. It's great to have a place in the city that offers an opportunity to browse the showroom., especially bearing in mind that we no longer have a department store. Overall a good experience. Hopefully coming back!
