Smoke BBQ

Everything about this visit was perfect. The food was incredible and brought to us quite quickly, the staff were very friendly and we were always well looked after. The location is easy to get to whether using public transport or in the car as the cheese grater car park is directly on top of the restaurant. Nice choice in music playing quietly as you eat and a lovely decorated restaurant. Would highly recommend to anybody. Every single item of food I tried was delicious as were the drinks.

I went here with my husband and friends. It was a busy Friday night and despite this we managed to get a table for four. The food was excellent (really recommend the burnt ends and my friend had tacos which were fantastic). The service was really efficient, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and its a good building with lots of space. We loved the food and would definitely go back if we were in Sheffield again. Highly recommended.

The food is decent. The portion sizes are good. The taste is not the best it’s more 8 6/10. It’s great general good but it could do with a tad bit more seasoning. I ordered the double beef rib which can with chips and beans. My husband ordered brisket with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. I gave it a 6/10 because the meat is fantastic but the sides are so basic. The chips are not seasoned, they’re well cooked but are bland. Tesco does better coleslaw than we had here. The mac and cheese was ghastly! It was boiled Mac topped with cheese. Nothing more, not a drop of salt or pepper. That’s all. Would I go back? Maybe, if there are no other options. The drinks were okay, we ordered grape soda and strawberry milkshake. The drinks are overpriced for what they are. Our meal cost us about £60 and for £60 it was very very average. Also, the atmosphere was nice. The service was 10/10!

Great looking place with great service and atmosphere. The BBQ wasn’t bad. I liked the sauce but the brisket I had was a little dry, and I didn’t know what to make of the beans. Ha. I’m from Texas so I’m a bit picky when it comes to BBQ. Still, I’d go back anytime… more dishes to try!

Not my first time at Smoke but it was the first time we have done the bottomless brunch and we were very impressed! Food was delicious as I've come to expect from Smoke and a good choice of dishes on the available menu. The portion sizes were good - especially for a bottomless brunch, where they can often be stingy. Drinks selection was excellent, including beer and a good variety of cocktails, which were all good. Service was quick and attentive and our options were clear - I wish I'd gotten the name of the host looking after our table as he couldn't have done enough for us. Will definitely return for this!
