A fantastic gem of a public house. great beers, ales and ciders as well as a great pub menu. a stone floored, benched seated traditional pub. dogs welcome. and also do take out beers.
A proper country pub, friendly fast service, food with a smile, even the female very busy chef! a place you can take your grandma and not be disappointed! very pleasant surroundings, complete with an enclosed beer garden.
Had a bite to eat whilst staying in pitney for a few days in august. simple but good quality and reasonably priced food backed up by an excellent choice of ales. the bar staff were friendly and helpful and the decor is traditional and rustic. highly recommended.
