Good place to visit at any time of year. Very popular with dog walkers. Very busy car park Boxing Day afternoon, but didn't see many people while walking in the woods.

Car park free, no toilet, dog on lead when passing 🐑🐑🐑, wellies or hiking boots are necessary. Mind your step on muddy and slippery road. …

Lovely spot with super views. Good parking and a great variety of walks, suitable for most people. After wet weather, some of the paths can be muddy, but perfectly manageable in rubber boots. Very well maintained woodland and well worth a visit
