Carrie is very experienced and really helpful. Listened to what we had to say and helped us with thinking about plans for our home. Excellent advice but more importantly great ideas and discussion to help us think through what we want to do. We could not have been more pleased.

I recommend Carolyn without hesitation. We re-visited some old plans for a single-storey extension that had never been carried out. Carolyn was very helpful, looking at these with fresh eyes and bringing them up to date, listening and responding to various worries I had about the build. I particularly liked the fact that we could carry out the process in stages and also well-adapted to social distancing requirements. The project is now finished, two years later, with her ideas translated into reality. It is a joy to walk into the kitchen each morning - thanks to Carolyn and her associate, Alex Carr, for the excellent and affordable advice and design work.

We contacted Carrie having read the online reviews and looked at her website. We are considering having our 20 year old conservatory(built by former owners) demolished and a relatively large extension built in its place. Along with some internal remodelling the aim is to give ourselves a large kitchen/dining room/family area with separate utility room and addition snug. Communication was prompt and courteous advising there would be a fair wait before she could visit should we wish to proceed due to the busy home improvement sector at the moment. We decided to wait as she clearly specialised in the kind of project we had in mind and said as much. When Carrie visited she was easy to talk to and genuinely seemed to want us to make our home better. She quickly understood our ideas around the work we were considering undertaking and whilst taking this into account wasn’t shy in suggesting changes for budgetary, practical or aesthetic reasons. At the time of writing this review we have had our initial sketches and budget costings through. These have captured perfectly what was discussed and agreed whilst offering a plethora of options and professional advice. Carrie’s experience and expertise was clear from the outset and, perhaps most importantly we felt like she was listening and understanding us whilst using her skills to guide the eventual design. We’re just deciding whether to proceed with the build as the estimate is more than our initial budget but are very happy with the service provided and will, if we go ahead be sticking closely to the design.

Carrie was fantastic. She came out for a consultation and ended up staying the entire day. In that time she helped develop our plans, measure up the house, sketch out ideas and answer all of our questions. She really listens and has so many useful ideas. I thoroughly recommend her.

It was a pleasure to meet Carrie. She listened intently to my requirements and came up with excellent solutions that I would never have thought of myself. I liked that each stage is separate and can be paid for individually. I didn't feel rushed, all charges were transparent and she returned the designs to me both electronically and by post before expected. I do not hesitate in recommending her services.
