I wanted to thank you for your time and patience in helping us create our dream extension to our home. it was very useful to have the multiple drawings of different options for the loft which you kindly created. although it had a high roof we struggled to visualize what we could do with the space; your drawings and advice helped us opt for 1 large bedroom with ensuite and office area. in addition, you helped us find a handful of builders to allow us to get comparative quotes. we chose one, and although the first comment he made was “i’ll re measure as architects often get it wrong” he confirmed your measurements were spot on and the work went extremely smoothly. your help and expertise was also appreciated in finding a structural engineer and organizing planning permission, all of which is well beyond my understanding! our last piece of carpet when down a few weeks ago, and we simply love the additional space we now have and how it helps the home flow when the 3 kids are here. thank you again, we couldn’t have done it without you.

I was looking to buy a new house and contacted rs studio to assist us with an appraisal which would look into planning constraints and opportunities. the team advised us of the challenges of achieving our aspirations within a conservation area setting in a thorough report. they managed to turn this around in a few days and were great in answering any follow up questions. i would highly recommend using their services.

From the first meeting that i had with ranjeet i knew that i was working with someone who was committed to the right solution for me. ranjeet really listens to what you want and asks questions in a way that enabled to me to feel sure i was clear about both the form and function of the space. my house is small and so it was really important that i used all of the space well. he was generous with his time and ideas and has useful processes that make you think more deeply than other people i spoke to. he was involved in remodelling the kitchen/dining room which resulted in a fabulous open plan kitchen with space for a utility/loo. upstairs he was able to get an en suite to work in a very small space. he also helped with a studio room. i asked for a recommendation for a builder and he introduced me to majengo who didi a great job too. ranjeet's team are great, i worked with lucie who was very patient, positive and helpful. the input from ranjeet was essential and the people in his network were all professional and good value.

Been trying to convert the rear of a mixed-use building for quite a few years to incorporate additional studio flats. originally, i was met with companies who simply did not have the expertise or knowledge into how to do this project as it would be for the commercial side of the property. other companies that claimed to have commercial expertise clearly did not as i spend money needlessly with one planner who put forward planning to the council that was immediately rejected. when i was put in touch with rs studio's they had suggested using permitted development rights instead of the full application route. i knew that i was speaking to a team that knows what they are doing when they were looking for the best and cost-effective routes to do this project. in the end, we converted 3 new studio flats using the rear of the ground floor shop. i was told by a previous company that i would need to build a second story in order to achieve a one-bedroom flat. meaning that if i had gone with the lesser planner, i would have spent more money on the build and would have achieved less rentable space. rs studio's also provided contract administration services, so they worked with the builder to make sure that all elements of the building process went as planned. it went very well. the team were also incredibly helpful, none stop they would support the project, and put me in touch with the right people to do the other smaller steps along the way, ultimately, i felt that i was good hands and sincerely trusted the team i was working with, for me, this was the most important part. they also provided excellent guidance and professionalism. i completely recommend rs studio, without any shadow of doubt, they are by far the best residential and commercial planners in southampton.
