What a fantastic idea just not fully realised. Its menu could do with a bit more variety, but the pie was delicious as was the mash and mushy peas. The mash was perfect consistency, the mush peas not too mushy and added flavour than just plain peas. The only downside was the service was very slow, and the facilities needed modernization.

Booked a table for 11. Accommodated is no problem with access for my friend (his birthday) in a wheelchair. After making the booking, a problem occurred, my friends dietary needs meant that actually he couldn’t eat the pies. Well, Phil the owner stepped up when I asked if he could cook something completely off the menu. Phil went above and beyond and cooked my friend the food he wanted. We all had a brilliant time. The food is great and at exceptional value. Great fun. Thank you to all the staff. Would recommend.

Recommended by friends but shocked we didn't know it was there, really had a great lunch at a fair price given the quality of the pie, mash, mushy peas & gravy. On entering we were greeted by a smiling young lady ('Hannah') who was as laid back & cool as the venue itself & immensely competent. Just can't fault the place & can't fault good old Pie & Mash but they do have a few edgy choices if more adventurous than my beef filled pie. Couldn't of wanted for a better lunch experience & thank you to all staff as of course there were others we didn't see.

Best pie I ever had! Perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Had the chicken, bacon and bbq one and it was really good, I would definitely suggest ordering this one. Staff is very friendly and they serve you very fast. Thanks for the lovely experience

That was an amazing English brunch breakfast . Everything in pies 🥮!! I took the traditional one as it was my first time with that kind of breakfast but all the options seemed tasty 🤤! Sided with cheesy mashed potatoes (it had 3 other options) and chilly mint semi-mashed peas (beans as an alternative) and a white gravy (2 options here). Absolutely delicious and gets you full 100% !! Very friendly and helpful stuff with a carefree atmosphere... Also had some old arcade games (mario cart) in some tables to pass time or keep the kids occupied🎮🕹️ .
