I feel confident that my dog enjoys his stays here, he's always relaxed when i collect him. thank you hampshire dog club.
We are truly grateful to hampshire dog club for the amazing help we have received with our romanian rescue and i would recommend them to anyone who is struggling with their dog or people with a new puppy who want to get off to the best possible start! we were struggling with some really tricky issues and without the help of sean, connor and the hampshire dog club team we would quite possibly have had to rehome him. my wife and i had tried other dog trainers but were getting nowhere until we first came here for a 1-2-1 session with sean. his approach made a huge difference for us, he is incredibly knowledgeable, very patient (showing a real understanding of how hard it can be for people) and clearly has a massive amount of experience, which comes across in the way he provides advice and also the way dogs respond to him. following our initial session we received a very detailed report on all of our dog's issues and suggestions on how to resolve them. although the best part is going there for training sessions in person and getting hands on help from sean, connor and the team, we still use this report as a reminder when we're struggling with something. highly recommended!
Perfect safe place to take your dog and great for help training puppies and dogs. the staff really are helpful. onsite shop for treats and being able to safely enjoy playtime with your dog off the lead is great. hopefully they start public sessions for dogs to socialise.
We have been going to hampshire dog club for training since puppy classes and agility for the past year. both of these are as much about teaching us owners as the dogs! training gives us the opportunity to try out and practice skills in a safe environment with nobody criticizing or panicking when things don't go to plan. agility is great fun for raffi and me and has improved the communication between us. the skills learnt here are really useful in other situations and have improved the control and responsiveness to commands when out walking in unfamiliar areas such as on holiday
We have been bringing our 16 month old westie to hampshire dog club for a year now, initially starting with caroline in the puppy classes and moving to adolescence/basic obedience classes with connor predominantly. we cannot praise them highly enough, the classes and trainers have taught us so much and enabled us to do the best we can for our dog. it is a safe and supportive space with like minded trainers and fellow dog owners, a great variety of classes and time/days available with a natural progression route through the types of classes available, and we feel excellent value for money. classes take place in an undercover canopied area so rain or shine they go ahead! to anyone with a puppy/young dog - go to these classes regularly, do the work in between classes - our boy has come such a long way in the last year and its been lovely to get to know connor, caroline and sean along the way and for them to see it too. they genuinely care and are great at what they do!
