Charters Estate Agents Southampton

I have used Charters twice recently and been extremely impressed with them both times. Firstly, they have been responsible for the sale of a house my church owns and they have been excellent - great advice, good communication without being too pushy, did everything they said they would when they said they would. Then, after this great experience, they helped me with letting another property and I found their letting team equally as good as their Sales team. Great service, very efficient, all communications brilliant. I would highlight Jess and Cheryl in Lettings and Kevin and Simon in Sales - all great customer service.

Throughout the tenancy, Charters provided an excellent service and were always professional. They provided quick and prompt responses and always worked with us to resolve any issues or disputes. I would like to commend both Lily and Clare, in particular, as our main points of contact with the lettings agency. Unfortunately, towards the end of the tenancy, the landlord made some unfair deductions from our deposit, which tainted our experience of the property itself. However, Clare from Charters Lettings Southampton took our counter-offer to the landlord and resolved this promptly. We were grateful for the photographs that were taken at the beginning of the tenancy to provide supporting evidence at the end to help resolve this dispute. After hearing about our frustration about the deposit deductions, Clare spoke with us and explained the situation offering her sincerest apologies for the inconvenience, despite this being through no fault of Charters Lettings themselves. We would use Charters Lettings in the future and recommend them to prospective tenants.

Many thanks to Carolyn for helping us find a new home. This is my second time to experience her excellent work/performance on the phone or via email. I met her twice in the office and she looked very professional. Charters has always been my choice when finding a new home, this agency has the best reputation in this area. KUDOS to all you do.

I really appreciate Charters Estate Agents as they are so so quick in responding to enquiries and whenever we have a problem in the flat the issue is resolved on the day and latest the day after. They also check in to see if an issue was in fact solved and are always super friendly and helpful. I have been lucky with estate agents in the past but so far this is my favourite.
