Dads funeral was the celebration we hoped it would be thanks to waters and sons. the team are just incredible. alison worked hard behind the scenes making sure everything was in place and she put up with my endless questions. she was so kind and caring. david was the friendly face that greeted us every time we visited. we even shared a giggle when i picked up dads ashes. simon seemed somehow to know exactly what we wanted when we first met. he matched us with a celebrant called liza barber who captured dad beautifully. simon understood humour. he was happy to consider our suggestions and make his own. one the day of the funeral he and liza had an air about them that just held everything together and we are so grateful.

I honestly don’t know what to say but thank you to everyone who took care of my baby halo 🕊️ massive thank you david who supported me through everything and helped plan the best send off for my angel 👼🏻 my baby was in the best care ❤️ waters & sons went above and beyond ❤️ they never let me down when i wanted to come and see my baby pretty much every day for 2+ hours and brought my baby home the day before the funeral so i could have family time 🕊️ everything was just perfect 💕 thank you everyone ❤️❤️

I'd like to thank waters and sons for their outstanding service in arranging my father's funeral. they provided a very professional, compassionate and caring service throughout the arrangements and on the day of the funeral. simon and david gently guided us through the entire process and provided many excellent recommendations. throughout, they were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. simon and david were considerate of the chinese culture. thanks to their help, we were able to give our father a very dignified and bespoke funeral. i'd highly recommend waters and sons!

I don't think 5 stars are enough truly reflect the care, hard work and dedication from david & the team at waters & sons. when my father suddenly passed i was faced with not only organising his funeral but with the daunting task of trying to bring him back to his beloved southampton as he lived and passed in another city. i spent a day visiting local funeral directors, and by chance drove by waters & sons. i called to book an appointment, and despite their closing time soon approaching they were most accomodating in booking in an appointment after closing given the circumstances. i like to think this meeting was meant to be. having been to other funeral directors prior, david was absolutely exceptional and could not have been any more caring and understanding. he spoke about my father as the man he was and not just refer to him as the deceased (which i had experienced with the other funeral directors). david told me "we'll bring him home" and in that moment my decision was made. my father's service was all about what he loved and really celebrated his uniqueness. david even suggested we decorate the windows of the hearse with stickers and offered the glass roof hearse so my father could see the skies on his last journey as my father was an aviation enthusiast. all these extra touches truly made for a remarkable send off for my father and were appreciated so much by myself and the family. thank you david and the team at waters & sons from the bottom of our hearts
