Visited from hampworth and all 3 of us were very impressed by the greens and fairways. good layout and friendly staff. we will return!
Great place to play golf. look forward to visiting again soon.
Not well signposted so perhaps a hidden gem. the course is undergoing some minor works to provide some alternative greens and tee off areas but this doesn't undermine the glorious course available. the greens and fairways are in great condition. there is a variety and challenge to the holes. water, slopes, dog lefts, dog rights!! it was a very enjoyable round. we unfortunately had some slower players in the group's in front but this seems to be becoming the norm everywhere. played this in the sun and enjoyed it thoroughly.
I've been a member here since this spring having waited a for the conversation from a 9 hole. i've enjoyed the course in both summer and now the autumn. i'm loving it and look forward to the completion of the new sections. for me its got all sort of challenges and styles of course in one. the maturity of the old course has been cleverly incorporated into new and i can see it getting better and better. some great views over hampshire and the lakes on the course. agree with the other reviews being impressed with continuing condition of the greens and course in the wet. shotgun tomorrow morning and it's full! i'm not sure what a green keepers revenge is though.
It's a golf course with potential but there's a lot of grounds work and landscaping going on across the course, clearly to make it better and more of a challenge, and in the middle of a drought it wasn't the best time to visit as the course is clearly not the finished article. wasn't aware so much work was going on. friendly staff in the pro shop and clubhouse and some great holes especially on the back nine. not expensive either.
