Hilton at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton

The receptionist Laura was amazing. The hotel was lovely, breakfast was lovely and was very fresh all the days we stayed. I would say house keeping need to do a better job with the duster, lots of dust in places. Parking was good. I would say it’s a bit out of the way location wise. It was a 15-20min drive to get anything for dinner bar kfc, takeaway etc.

Hotel public areas are nice, rooms are small and everything is damaged and marked in the room. Shower holder didn’t stay up, cupboard and walls are full of marks. Would be great to watch the cricket.

Welcoming staff, nicely located property. Uniquely overlooking a cricket stadium. Beefy Restaurant is very good with attentive staff. Excellent sanitation. Throughout!

Had a one night stay while visiting people nearby. Used the app to check in, operate the lift and open the door to the room. Saved queuing at the desk. All worked perfectly. The room was spacious and had a huge bed. Very comfortable. Great shower. Black out curtains worked perfectly and an overnight storm did not wake us due to great sound insulation. Only issue for me was the bright light from the air con controls glow bright green. Had breakfast which was good quality and a lot of choice. Especially continental choice which normally is lacking in UK hotels as they only have cooked breakfast. Checked out on the app. So I missed out again on the small queue at reception as we left.
